This is probably the single weirdest picture in the children's photo album. It appears that they may be either playing or fighting, and that Cliff is upset and has no legs.

This was taken outside LaGrange, GA, at the family lake, which is kept stocked with fish. 

Ben Garner & the fish

Ben Garner is Jeannine's maternal grandfather.  This picture was taken for the local LaGrange newspaper when he was over 100 years old.  He lived until 104, and died in 1981.

This photo was taken on July 9, 2004, the day we picked Nicholas up at the Amtrak station in Atlanta and drove back to La Grange, GA. He had traveled from New Hampshire where he'd been living and working for the past 8 months.
